Place to Grow Partners
Post Disaster Recovery Starts with Connection
We develop localized workshops or community gatherings around 3 themes:
Place to Grow Sponsor Partners fund workshop(s) in post disaster regions throughout Japan. Survivors and outside volunteers connect, bringing an explosion of positive energy to the community. These events creates hope, resilience and opportunity, which is crucial to long term recovery.
Each sponsor also holds a PR dinner to raise awareness and connect other interested partners and volunteers with the beneficiary communities and Place To Grow work. .
Each year a design/planning meeting connects them to progress on the ground and opportunity for scaling support and program development. Partners choose type of workshop, location, and can add communities. We build this process into their yearly calendar, CSR initiatives etc.
Strategic partners donate in-kind, which helps with the growth and capacity of the organization itself. Our board of Advisors contributes to the strategic development and scalability of Place To Grow. Together we discover ways to improve our value add, implement the program and grow our network.
The Volunteer Platform - a virtual connection point that facilitates volunteers via FB Work to manage "Activities" that support the coordination and development of the Place To Grow brand.
The Volunteer Platform is also designed to complement a company's CSR initiative and allows your management to provide meaningful, scalable, and tailor made volunteer opportunities to employees.
